What do you mean, ‘you’re an exclusive photographer’?
I photograph a maximum of 25 weddings per year. An average full time wedding photographer will shoot between 35-40. I limit this number drastically because of the time and energy I put into each and every wedding. I’m with you, right from your booking to help you take the stress out of wedding planning and enjoy this fabulous ride you’ll take only once in your life. Remember it’s your wedding, and it’s all about you.
What is your style?
Personal, creative and inconspicuous. I believe that as your wedding photographer, I am with you to capture the natural magic of your day and your relationship as it happens – not to add stress to yourselves and to mold and direct your day into what I think it should be.
How do your collections work?
I do charge for my wedding photography slightly different to others in the area as I have created a ‘build-your-own-collection’ system which means you can pick and choose the products and services that you want, without having to pay for extra’s that you would only purchase to get something else. Where are you available to photograph weddings?
I’m available to photograph weddings worldwide, I typically spend June – September in the UK and October – May in New Zealand. Although that’s by no means law – I also have a trip planned to America (LA and NYC!) and sometimes take on winter weddings in the UK or New Zealand. Most of my weddings are throughout Canterbury and Central Otago in New Zealand, and through Chester, Cheshire and Shropshire in the UK.

If you’re available worldwide, how do you charge for travel?
For most of my clients, my travel is included in their wedding photography fee as I am already close to their wedding location when they are getting married. For example; if I am booked to be in New Zealand November 17th 2012 and you are getting married on November 17th 2012 in Lake Tekpo, my travel expenses are already included in your wedding photography fee and you therefore have no additional travel fee to pay. If however I am not already booked to be in New Zealand and you would like to book me for a special trip for your wedding you will need to pay an additional fee for the travel associated with your wedding.
When do get to see our photos?
If you decide to have an engagement session (this is a complementary session included with your wedding collection) then you’ll get to see a sneak peek of your engagement photos within 48 hours of your session. Your full, private, online gallery will be available for viewing between thirty days after your session.
Your wedding photography sneak peek will be available for viewing one-two weeks after your wedding. You may choose to have this delayed if you are going to be away for this period on your honeymoon – we will schedule a date that suits you so that you get to see it first! Meticulous care and attention is given to each individual image included in your wedding photography collection. This ensures that every one of your images is professional, clean and beautiful. Your full, private, online wedding photography gallery will be available for viewing approximately four – six weeks after your wedding.
